About ten years ago, several doctors advised that my wife should go on a plant-based diet. To encourage her, I also took that step with her.
I had always been heavy and despite trying numerous diets, even if there was temporary success, the weight came back. Plant-based is different. I don't get hungry because I eat as much as I want. I have no urge to quit. Did I mention that I've lost 70 pounds and feel much better. And the results in the China Study show I should live longer and in much better health. Of course that is only likely; there can be no guarantees for me or any other specific person.
My food choices will not save the environment and they will not have much affect on animal welfare, but if enough people follow my lead it will make a dramatic difference. I would urge you to consider these benefits for yourself and possibly for others.
Oh. Get a copy of the China Study and read at least the first couple chapters.
