Suzanne Newsome an associate for an international development contracting company. She is a 2007 graduate of the University of Denver, where she received an MA degree in International Studies with a concentration in Human Rights. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zimbabwe from 1999-2001, where she developed a library at a secondary school, and as an AmeriCorps volunteer in New York City, where she was a case manager for homeless women. She is a feminist with libertarian leanings and has a strong interest in reproductive justice. Suzanne currently spends three days a week in salsa class and is a highly valued member of a kickball team.
