Sandy Eaton, RN is currently a staff nurse at Quincy Medical Center in Quincy, Massachusetts, and has worked for over forty-five years in a variety of positions in Massachusetts' extensive healthcare industry. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA), and represents MNA at the Massachusetts Campaign for Single Payer Health Care (Mass-Care) and the Labor Campaign for Single Payer. Eaton is the immediate past chair of Mass-Care, and served in that position during the period of Chapter 58's development, enactment and early implementation. He holds an AB degree from Boston College in Philosophy and Theology, and has written on healthcare, nursing and related topics for Labor Notes, The Massachusetts Nurse, PeaceWorks, Revolution and the Yankee Radical. He is the editor of Seachange Bulletin, a web site focusing on news of importance to nursing, healthcare and labor activists.
