I was born in Dallas in 1963. My whole life has been in a world where elements in government and business conduct themselves in a way that's unhealthy for people and the planet. I was raised to "have faith", trust authority, and don't make waves. But something inside me cannot ignore the smell of something fishy. The more I learn about history, the clearer it becomes. I know enough about magic, puppetry, stagecraft and diversion to see through the compliant consumer coma that many people willingly embrace. I don't want to distrust or fear my government, but those are the cards we have been dealt. I truly believe we can live in a fair, peaceful beautiful world if we have the courage and imagination to make it happen.
