I was born in San Francisco decades ago and I, and my extended family, are still in the bay area. I am an artist, union member and retired teacher. I ran for Congress on the Green ticket but am now feeling that our government is so far out of the control of the people to change by voting. We we must rebel and together write a new Constitution---or Articles of Confederation. I think the United States is too large for the people to have any way of hope of democracy. We might do better if we were fifty independent states.
