Agha Iqrar Haroon has been working with national and international media houses for the last 24 years. He is Special Correspondent of Dispatch News Desk (DND). His tenure as journalists includes 8 years in print media and 16 years in electronic media. He has strong background of management working with Public (Media Consultant Ministry of Tourism Government of Pakistan, private (Chief Controller News Waqt Television and supervisor of Current Affairs Department Geo TV Lahore) and international organizations (Country Coordinator/Producer Abu Dhabi Television Coordinator/Reporter Al-Jazeera Arabic Islamabad).
He has around 300 news reports and 40 documentaries on his credit in electronic media and around 1500 special reports in the field of politics, education, health, tourism in print media including interviews of former prime ministers, federal ministers and provincial ministers. He sometime also teaches in Beacon House University Lahore (Television production).

Having degree of Master of Philosophy from Government College Lahore, he started his career as Reporter from daily The Nation Lahore (Reference Mr. Arif Nazami the than Editor The Nation) in year 1988.

Since 1988, he has been working on different assignments with different international television channels and newspapers including ETN News agency Islamabad (Reference: Nawab Kaifee), Al-Jazeera Television Islamabad. (Reference Mr. Ahmad Muafiq Zaidan Bureau Chief Islamabad), Abdu Dubai Television Islamabad (Reference: Mr. Jamal Ismahail), Chief Control News Waqt Television Lahore (Ref. Mr. Arif Nizami the than CEO of Waqt Television). He has vast experience of working in Afghanistan and Central Asia,
