Trump's DANGEROUS MELTDOWN EXPOSED By Corporate Allies

It's no secret Trump's lost it, his brain's gone kaput like your laptop after you spill a keg of coffee on it. But what's interesting is that some of his allies--or erstwhile allies--are starting to leak this fact. Particularly his corporate allies, as he tosses around tariffs like bean bags and threatens to upend their businesses and the American economy with it. These CEOS very much don't want to pick a fight with Trump publicly--see the recent arse-kissing by Walmart CEO, Doug McMillon, after he blamed Trump for his company's rising prices. He was then greeted by that Trump rite passage--a threatening, unhinged tweet--and backed down publicly saying Walmart would eat the extra cost (tbc, in case you think I have the slightest sympathy for Walmart, nope. I just like my Presidents to act within the Constitution, and preferably not to be mob-boss stand-ins).

Can Trump's Racist Ambush Of President Ramaphosa Get More Bonkers? Yes.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump went on a racist tirade in front of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and pushed the false narrative that a "white genocide" is underway in that nation. Now it is becoming clear that not only was Trump being racist, but he was also using faked documents to push his made-up story. There is not a "white genocide" in South Africa, but that has been a narrative promoted for years by white supremacists as the nation attempts to deal with the decades-long fallout of the racist apartheid system of government. The cause of white supremacists has been amplified to the highest level of American government via Trump.

Charlie Kirk's Racist Reply To College Student

Charlie Kirk was so humiliated by a Cambridge University student during a debate Thursday, he used his last words to echo Trump's racist phrase describing the United States as a possible "third world shit hole." College student Sammy McDonald joined the debate and ripped into Kirk's undying support of Demented Donald.

Trump Labor Secretary: I Know Nothing

During the Senate Appropriations hearing, Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer refused to answer basic questions about Elon Musk and the cuts DOGE has made in the federal government that has been advantageous to himself. Murphy focused on the almost complete shut down of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program which has been virtually eliminated without cause. Murphy stated the assault on this agency has worked out well for Musk against charges of racial abuse against Black employees. The investigation was closed because of the cuts.

'No Pain' Lutnick Gets An Earful From His Audience

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Wednesday sought to defend Donald Trump's nonsensical tariff policy by falsely saying that the massive tariffs the administration placed on nearly every item imported into the U.S. won't raise prices and that no one will feel any pain. Lutnick made the comment at an event hosted by the media outlet Axios, where he told the audience that sellers won't raise prices""even though major big-name retailers and manufacturers like Walmart, Mattel, and Nike have already said they will be forced to shift tariff costs onto consumers.

Sneaky Little Provision In Budget Bill Guts The Civil Service

El Cheeto's dream to protect "my people" in the federal bureaucracy and fire his enemies just might come true, with a sneaky provision in the budget bill. Via HuffPost: The One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which passed 215-214, cuts $1 trillion in federal health and food programs while adding nearly $4 trillion in tax cuts steered primarily to the wealthy. But it also includes a little-noticed provision that would force new federal employees to either give up traditional job protections or take a significant cut to their compensation.

Why Is Trump Admin So Desperate To Keep Musk Work Secret?

If Elon Musk's DOGE really did a great job making the federal government more efficient and eliminating waste, I'd think the Trump administration would be showing off what was done. Instead, they're spending a lot of taxpayer time and dollars trying to keep DOGE's work out of the public eye.

The ladies of the View slammed Yambo for his meeting with South Africa's president a day after a news report revealed Disney executives wanted the panel to cool their criticism. Ha, ha! Via the Daily Beast: The opinion show's co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin tore into the Wednesday meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, where Trump repeatedly claimed there was a "genocide" of white farmers in the nation with unverified videos.

GOPers Blew Up The Filibuster This Week. Prediction: They'll Do It Again.

This story is from National Public Radio and it's so polite and restrained, I wouldn't blame you if you had no idea what it was saying. Via NPR: The Senate has overruled the guidance of the parliamentarian, a nonpartisan staffer who interprets the Senate's rules, and voted 51 to 44 to overturn a waiver allowing California to set its own air pollution standards for cars that are stricter than national regulations. The Senate has only overruled its parliamentarian a handful of times in the 90-year history of the role.
