Trump is silent after Passover attack on 'overrated Jewish' governor

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to burn down Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro's home on Saturday while he was celebrating the first night of Passover with his family. The suspect, 38-year-old Cody Balmer, turned himself in to police on Sunday, NBC News reported. He told police he had "hatred towards Governor Shapiro" and had plans to beat Shapiro with a hammer. He was charged Monday with attempted homicide, terrorism, aggravated arson, and aggravated assault.

Trump tells court to pound sand over wrongfully deported Maryland dad

If American democracy was functioning even marginally well, the Supreme Court's order requiring the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland dad mistakenly deported to El Salvador, would be the end of a genuinely repugnant episode.  Instead, we're living through a surreal time where the executive branch keeps telling the judicial one to pound sand and suffering no consequences.
