President Donald Trump was formally ordered by the court to pay E. Jean Carroll $5 million in damages after a Manhattan federal jury found him liable for battery and defamation. That infamous verdict was handed down in 2023, and Trump, unsurprisingly, has yet to fork out so much as a dime to his victim. Now his excuses are becoming increasingly pathetic, desperate, and frankly ridiculous.

Elon Musk Caught Interfering With Our Elections Again

A firm linked to Elon Musk likely engaged in voter caging. On Tuesday, The Washington Post reported, "Election officials in North Carolina and Georgia are warning about suspicious voter-registration mailers linked to Elon Musk." I am sure it is no coincidence that Senate races in North Carolina and Georgia are two states Musk and his MAGA minions are likely to lose. As The Post explained, bulk mailings that appeared to be official requests for voter registrations came from a group called "Ready to Register." At first blush, it appears the group's work was shockingly sloppy (which tracks with other Musk efforts). The North Carolina State Board of Elections said in a statement that the mailings went "to an unknown number of citizens with an outdated voter registration application which includes four political parties that are no longer recognized in North Carolina."

DeSantis's 'Stop WOKE' Law Struck Down -- By A Judge Trump Appointed Himself

A federal appeals panel took a red pen to Ron DeSantis's Stop WOKE Act on Tuesday, handing the governor yet another lesson in constitutional law he apparently didn't attend. The 11th Circuit ruled 2-1 that the law's higher-ed provisions -- which tried to muzzle professors from so much as discussing race and gender in class -- violate the First Amendment, because it turns out the government doesn't get to script what college professors say. Bold concept, we know.

Democratic strategist Mike Nellis took a segment on Fox straight off the rails when he brought up Trump and Republican Congressman Max Miller who's accused of domestic abuse when they wanted to be talking about Platner. Nellis was a guest on this Tuesday's The Story with Martha MacCallum , and after guest host Trace Gallagher played a montage of various Democrats endorsing Platner before the latest shoe dropped on his campaign this week, was immediately treated to his fellow guest, right-wing Philly radio host Rich Zeoli, and Gallagher, talking over him when called out Republicans for not policing their own house, and demanding he "stay on topic."
