AlterNet Crooks and Liars Daily Kos (Note: these articles are from RSS News Feeds websites, and are deleted after 30 days, May 30, 2026 at 9:23 AM EDT Womp, womp. Donald Trump's latest courtroom hearing ended the way so many of them do: with a judge saying, "Absolutely not," before handing him another very embarrassing public loss. The Kennedy Center, where Trump apparently thought slapping his name on things was still a functioning business model instead of a warning label, has two weeks to remove his name. I am ready to drive down with my personal chisel. May 30, 2026 at 9:22 AM EDT Former Attorney General Pam Bondi testified about the Epstein files to the House Oversight Committee on Friday. But her appearance was held behind closed doors, off camera, and Republicans refused to put her under oath. Afterward, Rep. Robert Garcia, the Democratic ranking member of the Oversight Committee, told reporters that he asked Bondi five different questions about conversations with Donald Trump. He appears more than 5,300 times in the files related to his former BFF. May 30, 2026 at 9:22 AM EDT Newly appointed DHS Sec Mark Wayne Mullen told Fox News' Sean Hannity that to punish blue states for refusing to work with ICE and the Border Patrol, he wants the feds to refuse to process international flights in their cities and reroute them to red states. And so I visited with the White House today, Sean, and I said, you know, if they're going to not allow us to go out and arrest the worst of the worst, and then when we call for assistance at the facilities, that the street, it belongs to the city, if it belonged to us, we would take care of it, but it belongs to the city, and they're barricading our employees from coming in and out of the facility, then why are we processing international flights into the airport there? May 29, 2026 at 7:59 PM EDT Bob Newhart's comedy was legendary and has won him many awards including, "three Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe." Ooma: May 29, 2026 at 7:01 PM EDT I kinda feel like some smart TV network should pick up Philly's July 4th celebration of 250 years instead of Lumpy's feeble bargain-basement version on his June 14th birthday, since most of his artist have reneged. I mean, look at this FREE lineup. Via the Inquirer: May 29, 2026 at 6:08 PM EDT Former self-described "fame whore," reality TV star Spencer Pratt is using the tragedy of the Pacific Palisades fires to run for LA Mayor and is being aided by a likely source to magnify his presence, Fox News. If you search Pratt's name and Fox News, many different videos and articles appear. Fox News is enamored with Pratt's caustic style that imitates demented Donald, but that's just a pretense. He's another reality TV blowhard who needed a new platform to feed his ego, and Fox is happy to help. They highlighted an upcoming interview this week and cherry-picked this clip to introduce him to their viewers. May 29, 2026 at 5:23 PM EDT Ryan Fournier, the co-founder and chairman of Students for Trump, was arrested early Tuesday in Washington, D.C., on domestic violence charges -- the second time in less than two years he has faced accusations of assaulting a woman. The Metropolitan Police Department charged Fournier with simple assault and attempted threats to do bodily harm after an incident late Monday night at the Apartments at CityCenter. May 29, 2026 at 3:34 PM EDT Philip Alito, the son of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, "quietly landed a political appointee job as a lawyer" in Donald Trump's Treasury Department in the early weeks of the second Trump administration, NOTUS has reported. Yet he is not mentioned on the department's website and "his three professional bar listings are outdated or incorrectly list previous employers." It seems pretty clear that Philip Alito was hired for political reasons. "His exact role was still being sorted during his first few weeks there as senior officials rearranged professional responsibilities," a source told NOTUS. Another said, "There's no doubt he got that position because of who he is." May 29, 2026 at 3:04 PM EDT A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration's $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" fund after Jan. 6 prosecutor Andrew Floyd sued. NBC News reports, "The Trump administration cannot take any further action on the fund while legal motions are pending, "which includes the transferring of money to the fund; the consideration of any claims submitted to the fund; and the disbursing of any funds from the fund," according to the order. The judge said the order was necessary to "ensure that no funds are irreversibly disbursed from the Anti-Weaponization Fund" while there are motions pending to block the distribution of funds. She set a hearing for June 12." Creating this 1.8 billion slush fund is one of the most brazenly public displays by Trump and his DOJ of how corrupt they are. May 29, 2026 at 1:57 PM EDT Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins spoke today at Post Farms in Marana, Arizona, to local cotton producers about farm economics, bragging that the Trump administration has kicked 4 million people off of SNAP programs but has no idea how many were because of fraud. Rollins was there to try and promote Trump's trade deals that led the way for a disastrous US economy, where farmers are struggling, despite the lie the Big Ugly bill is making agriculture and small businesses great again. May 29, 2026 at 12:08 PM EDT During Saturday's West Point commencement speech, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth preached to the graduates that if they commit war crimes and or illegal acts, he and Trump will have their backs. That's shocking. May 29, 2026 at 11:08 AM EDT Trump, ever so humble, has cracked the case that has baffled doctors, historians, and the entire medical establishment: he is the reason Joe Biden fell apart at the 2024 debate, which took place 701 days ago . His performance was so devastating, so spectacular, so highly rated, that poor Joe's brain just gave up on the spot. Sure thing. Jill Biden, meanwhile, stands accused of the grave crime of not vaulting onto a debate stage to rescue her husband mid-sentence -- as any good wife would do, according to America's foremost authority on marriage. That's right, it's been 701 days since the debate, and Trump took a shot at Jill Biden on Truth Social. |
