Trump taps another tech bro for shady government gig

One of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency types who burrowed into the Trump administration after Elon Musk left is now the nation's first "chief design officer." Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia is going to turn your government into the Apple Store.  No, really. That's what he said

Trump is too chicken to take the blame for high egg prices

President Donald Trump is still pointing fingers instead of actually doing anything about the high prices of eggs. "We came in. The eggs were through the roof," Trump rambled on Tuesday. "That was caused by Biden or whoever""whoever was operating the autopen actually caused that, I guess, because I don't think he knew too much about eggs."

Turns out this Fox News hack isn't too good at being a US attorney

Former Fox News pundit and current U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro is not exactly covering herself in glory as she enables the Trump administration's takeover of the nation's capital, and judges and juries are making sure she knows it.  Did you know that federal magistrate judges do not like it when one of Donald Trump's alphabet soup of goons decides that they have probable cause to search someone for being Black and carrying a heavy backpack? Well, more to the point: Did Pirro know that federal magistrate judges do not like it when one of Trump's alphabet soup of goons decides that they have probable cause to search someone for being Black and carrying a heavy backpack? Trump targets another powerful Black woman""and she's not having it

Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook has rejected President Donald Trump's attempt to purge her from the nation's central bank as part of his plot to subvert the independence of the pivotal American institution. On Monday night, Trump posted a letter he sent to Cook asserting that he had the authority to remove her "effective immediately." Trump's justification is an unproven allegation from Federal Housing Finance Agency Head William Pulte, a Trump appointee, claiming that Cook "made false statements" on mortgage agreements. Pulte has made similar allegations against Sen. Adam Schiff of California and New York Attorney General Letitia James, whom Trump sees as his political enemies.

Trump administration threatens funding for 3 states over trucker English rules

California, Washington and New Mexico could lose millions of dollars of federal funding if they continue failing to enforce English language requirements for truckers, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Tuesday. An investigation launched after a deadly Florida crash involving a foreign truck driver who made an illegal U-turn on Aug. 12 found what Duffy called significant failures in the way all three states are enforcing rules that took effect in June after one of President Donald Trump's executive orders. He said the department was also already reviewing how states were enforcing the rules before the crash.

Derpy Trump adviser wants to show you he's a big strong man

If there's one thing a MAGA man loves, it's a chance to awkwardly flex some muscle. This time, it's Peter Navarro who's hitting the gym. In an attempt to troll a recent viral video of New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani bench pressing in Brooklyn, the senior counselor for trade and manufacturing shared a clip of himself curling 25-pound dumbbells.
