The Constitution is clear on birthright citizenship. Alito doesn't care.

The Fourteenth Amendment could not be any clearer: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." It boggles the mind that four justices could read those 27 words and conclude they don't actually mean what they plainly say.
