It is nice to be back in Palestine among our people (thank you good people of Norway for making our trip productive and memorable). We are back energized by the garden and the programs (like the Summer camp) at our Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS). PIBS continues to provide facilities for growth mentally, physically, and intellectually to all of us. Our friend and environmentalist Mona Khalil (age 76) was killed (one of hundreds of thousands of civilians killed by by the Israeli apartheid regime). She dedicated her life to protecting nature especially endangered sea turtles. See this short video on her work and listen to her voice and passion.
