I am originally from Colorado, however I have been living overseas now for about 15 years. Currently I am working on finishing a dual masters degree (MS in International Cooperation Policy) & (M.Eng. in International Material Flow Management). I consider myself progressive and support the idea that 'We' need to replace globalism, which increasing puts power in the hands of fewer people, with localism, which would mean that power would be more democratically distributed throughout society. In other words, people becoming informed and taking responsibility and action at the local level over the basic necessities of life (water, energy, news, etc.).
