The Lee's Summit Conservative was born and raised in Argentina, grew up in a cattle ranch in the middle of the pampas and moved to Hoboken NJ where he learned to speak English at the age of twelve. He is a college graduate and has become a US Citizen by choice and desire to be a part of this great Nation, a nation of ideas and the ability to grow based on your merit not a blood line nor the list of influential friends you have.
He is the son of two Argentine newspaper reporters. Currently the Lee's Summit Conservative lives in Lee's Summit Missouri and works in the greater Kansas City area as the Vice President of Operation for a small automotive aftermarket company.
The opinions expressed by him have formed from years of exposure to the pain of the "so called" liberal ways of the Argentine political system, and from the experiences in the United States that range from Nixon to Carter, from Reagan to Clinton and finally to Bush.
The main driver of thought for him is the strength of the ideas and a motto, "when you are involved in a difficult debate, raise the strength of your arguments, not the tone of your voice". It is time to practice that in America circa 2008.
