Hi all! I'm a 60 year old American who lived as an expat in Japan for more than 25 years until the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe led me and my wife to gather up our four cats and beagle and move to Guam, where I am now the International News Editor for an independently owned newspaper, the Marianas Variety. I am most interested in doing whatever I can to help see a transformation of society to something more reasonable...hopefully before we are forced to do so by a major war or ecological collapse.
