Sunday Homilies for Progressives (162 articles.) (# of views) (Created by Mike Rivage-Seul)
My goal is to help progressives see the relevance of the Judeo-Christian tradition to their daily lives and the issues of the day. I would also like to help pastors generate ideas for their own Sunday reflections. The perspective here will be informed by liberation theology and current scripture scholarship.        I began this series of homilies fifteen months ago when I started blogging.        You can access the earlier entries under the 'Sunday Homilies' button on my blog site @ http://www.mikerivageseus.wordpress.com/

Take Back the Democratic Party and America (7 articles.) (# of views) (Created by Rob Kall)
If you were a Bernie Sanders supporter-- one of the 14 million plus-- then you're probably pretty disgusted with the current Democratic Party, the DNC and the leadership. I certainly feel that the leadership and most of the current elected officials are bad, ie., worse than worthless, a danger to Democracy and the constituents they are supposed to represent.Fortunately, there's a lot that can be done if the people who supported Bernie Sanders get together and work to make change happen. This article series will explore the challenges, strategies and opportunities.
Take Down Neurodiversity (3 articles.) (# of views) (Created by Jonathan Ferguson)
The Paleo-Orthodoxy of Medical-Centrism has now been replaced by the similarly hegemonic Neo-Orthodoxy of 'Neurodiversity.' My stern polemics are diverted towards forcibly evacuating and cleansing Neurodiversity from the Neurosphere, and moving towards a truly progressive and spiritually-terroristic 'Neurodivergence.'    I do not believe any compromise is possible between authentic Neurodivergence and its opportunistic, assimiliationist co-optation in the form of 'Neurodiversity.' True Neurodivergence and Neuropluralism will be relentlessly opposed to Neurodiversity: it's 'eat or be eaten.'Where do you stand?
